How often should you change a boiling water tap filter?

The filter cleans the water for drinking and helps protect the tank from limescale. When it is overdue, the water can taste different and limescale builds up faster.
How often
Usually every six to twelve months, depending on the brand and how much you use it. On QETTLE taps it is roughly every six months, and QETTLE taps have a light that tells you when the cartridge is due. Other brands vary, so check your tap's instructions or ask us.
